Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.

BuilderPad aims to streamline construction project management, enhance trust between parties involved, and improve overall communication, all contributing to more successful and efficient project completion. We offer a lightweight, modern approach to homebuilding by focusing on 3 core features: Scheduling, selections and communication. With an extensive background in construction and sales, my role is to help steer the development of BuilderPad (being led by my partner Mark Thompson) by offering real life pains that builders experience day-to-day. I am also Director of Sales and work directly with current and prospective clients.

What was the objective behind coming up with this software?

Mark and I realized an issue affecting the industry – a lack of trust and efficient communication between stakeholders in construction projects. This software solution was born from the belief that technology could bridge the trust and communication gaps often seen in construction projects.

How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?

BuilderPad is an intuitive, lightweight solution that requires no learning curve. We focused on NOT including a lot of bulky features that were not needed by most small, custom builders. We focused on the core belief that a small builder’s key performance indicators are simply their schedule, selections budget, and communication between all parties involved with the project.

What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?

BuilderPad’s target market is the new construction industry, specifically the small to mid-size custom builder. However, we also feel our software can offer a great front-office solution to the larger tract builder that implements an ERP solution on the backend.

What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
Ease of use, intuitive mobile app, automatic push notifications, automatic schedule updates.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?

94% customer satisfaction rate. We offer live chat on our website, as well as phone support if needed. We also have a robust set of knowledgebase articles and videos available. We publish our company’s roadmap and allow clients to suggest features that would be helpful to their business.

Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
Yes, our customers pay monthly for the service. We have a 95% customer retention rate.
