Review Summary

We at Japanoscope use Happy Scribe to highlight the text that the alorighm thinks may not be correct. This speeds up the correction process.

Ability to download the transcription in a variety of formats; Happy Scribe gives you a variety of text formats, or it will let you download the video with the transcription displayed on the video itself.

The things we don’t like:

We have a paid lifetime subscription to the service, but even with the paid version, the platform limits us to a couple of hours of audio per month. Unlimited transcription time would help!

Overall we are fans of the platform. In the past, we used a hack (which also works fairly well) of using Microsoft’s Onenote software to transcribe in real time. Compared to this, the whole process is much more efficient for Happy Scribe for a fairly reasonable fee.
