Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Horizon ERP is an end-to-end software solution for businesses in retail, distribution, and small manufacturing. It’s designed to be an off-the-shelf product with features and functionalities that enable businesses to digitize their operations with the least cost and manpower overheads. Product design and architecture are my forte.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
The foundations for this product were laid down at a time when Business accounting products were still in their nascent stage. The products available in the market required users to have specific software training, basic knowledge of accounting and was very support intensive. I would work with excel and think to myself “Have I ever had to call up Microsoft tech support, due to issues in the product”. Why couldn’t business accounting software be user-friendly enough so that anyone with basic computer knowledge and business knowledge could buy a license of the shelf and use the same? This line of thought is deeply embedded within the design of the product.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
Our focus is on time and manpower saving, reducing time spent on data entry, splitting a load of data entry evenly over all employees of the organization. With more time at hand, and information at your fingertip’s businesses can focus on how to drive growth.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?
Our products are tailor-made for distributors, retailers, wholesale shops, and small manufacturers of FMCG products.
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
Infinite scalability, you can be a 1-man operation or a business operating from 100’s of locations. The product can be scaled infinitely. 0 Learning curve. Software especially business accounting products are a myriad of menus or short-cut keys.

Our design language is simple, everything want is either a click away or within sight. There are 0 drop-down menus in our product.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We measure customer satisfaction based on yearly churn, which close to 0 if we eliminate the cases where the business closes down. To ensure a seamless experience with our product we have an in-house developed CRM product that handles support tickets from our support portal, inbound emails to our tech support from registered email ids, and inbound calls in a call center. We give end-to-end visibility on the status of tickets raised by the customer through any means. We have customer rating program where the customer can rate the assistance received from our support crew. This enables us to constantly improve our customer experience.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
100% of our existing customers, when they start a new venture, would buy our product. We constantly engage with our customers to identify new business opportunities either with sister concerns or value-added services for existing businesses.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
We provide online training material, which is accessible from within the software as well as online through our website. We do have a YouTube channel with a basic video tutorial on how to set up and operate our product.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We have an omnichannel support ticket management system. Customers can visit our website and raise tickets, or they can shoot an email from their registered email Id to support email ids or they can directly call our executives. Response times for any of the channel is instant. Ticket resolution time is an internal metric to drive quality delivery.
What has been the revenue for your product for 2020?

Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?
We hope to be the Number 1 player with a global footprint, grow into a must-have product for any kind of business. Just like how SAP and oracle are for big enterprises.
