About HyNote
HyNote for Mac records system audio and your microphone from Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, browser tabs, and other Mac apps without adding a meeting bot. It creates searchable transcripts, summaries, decisions, owners, and action items. Choose On This Mac to keep recordings, transcripts, and Local AI notes on your Mac; on-device transcription works on supported Intel and Apple silicon Macs, while Local AI requires compatible Apple silicon and macOS 26.4 or later. Optional online AI is available for longer transcripts, larger files, and more complex requests.
Sync a note to your HyNote account to use the HyNote MCP integration in ChatGPT, OpenAI Codex, or compatible agents: ask questions about a meeting, draft follow-up messages, organize action items, or turn agreed requirements into a plan. Notes stored only on your Mac are not accessible through the account integration; add the transcript to your account first. Core Mac recording and on-device transcription are free.
