Not Suitable for Startups
Icecat provides access to a large catalog of product data, which is useful for companies needing extensive product information, especially for categories like electronics and telecom. It solves the problem of manually collecting product specs from multiple sources by centralizing much of this information in one place. However, while it helps in reducing the effort to gather product data, it doesn't always offer the complete, standardized information we need. We still find ourselves supplementing this data from other sources, which limits the benefit of using the service.
For startups and small businesses, it's crucial to have a 1-month trial period to evaluate the product's suitability before fully committing. This would allow new users to assess the service's alignment with their needs and ensure that it provides the value expected.
