Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Invoice Ninja is a leading source-code available platform for freelancers and small businesses to invoice clients, accept payments, track expenses & time billable tasks.

I work as CEO to grow the company together with my two co-founders and partners, Hillel Coren and David Bomba. We launched in early 2014 as an open-source suite of apps for freelancers & small businesses and for the last 8 years we’ve worked as a team to grow Invoice Ninja into a leading fintech platform.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
Invoice Ninja was built to solve our own problems as freelancers. We launched as the first full-featured opensource platform for invoicing & payments. We were very well received by the opensource community and truly value their support. We have grown exponentially every year since 100% organically.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
Invoice Ninja is the only platform that offers both self-hosting and SaaS options. Invoice Ninja is the only truly free platform that offers a suite of apps for our users. Invoice Nina integrates with dozens of payment gateways, we don’t force our user base to pick from a handful of options.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?
We have found that freelancers and small teams of under 20 people are the ideal userbases for Invoice Ninja. We have a user base in over 30 languages and 100 countries around the world, all solopreneurs and small teams.
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
The nature of our developmental process allows for a level of testing and quality assurance companies many times our size are just not able to match. When we deploy our latest release to production updates, it has already been tested by thousands of developers around the world deployed across thousands of servers. The result? The perfect invoicing and payments experience, with every tool & feature you could possibly need, at a fraction of the cost of our competitors.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We work very hard to give immediate customer service to every user across email, Slack, Forums, and social media. When you talk with us, you’re talking with the founders. Real people who build the apps. Email us for support and we – the co-founders – will reply faster than any of our larger competitors.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
We have an exceptional high retainment rate. If a user has a problem or needs help with a custom workflow, we’ll react immediately to assist.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
We work to make our platform as intuitive as possible. For supporter offer email (with custom video tutorials created on the spot per email), screenshot tutorials, forums support, and we have a very active Slack community channel.

Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?
Invoice Ninja has reached an incredible 200,000+ account users in 7 years. Our goal is to reach 500,000 users in the next 3 years. For 10 years in fintech, we are building and developing too fast to see that far out!
