The software allows you to trace people, data, and processes, as well as real-time impact analysis with team collaboration. One of the best requirement management software I've ever came across!

Our company uses Jama Software for requirement management. It's really built with software projects in mind, which very much fits our business. It's also great for testing and debugging. One of the big drawbacks is that a lot of their best features are only available in the pricey enterprise edition. We recently made the switch to Jama at the beginning of 2021. We tend to use it maybe once a month, but it really goes in streaks. When a project is coming together, we'll use it every day for several weeks, then not touch it for a couple months.

Our company uses Jama requirement management software. It has features with end-to-end traceability, data and resources, real-time impact analysis, reviews, and approvals. Pros: The ability to store and create your field-level data, and we have taken advantage of that in spades. This alone has saved us hundreds to thousands of dollars. It is a light application. Cons: It’s sluggish sometimes. If you do not have an enterprise license, it will limit the number of users who can stay logged in together. It is different from other document software, so people have a hard time learning it. We have been using this software for the last six months. Earlier we would face several problems which have been easier to deal with. We use it daily. Also, we are not moving away from this software. It helps us a lot in our daily work.

Jama can make it a lot easier to introduce new hires to the system that you follow or brush up on it yourself.

We at eMathZone use Jama connect as our requirements management software. It's easy to communicate and track our changes to goals and progress and especially helps now as we're working remotely and need a program that does it all for us. We have a lot of projects progressing at the same time, like all businesses do so the live traceability of the Jama Connect helps us stay on top of things. They also have great resources on their website that tell you everything you need to know about their software and more.
