Review Summary

I tried this as they advertise it as: "TinyTake: Best Free Windows Screen Capture & Video". All I wanted was to record about 10 seconds of screen time to submit a bug report on some other software I was trying. I Googled, and found this, and won't in all likelihood ever be back to Mango Apps. All I wanted was what that headline says a quick Windows screen video. I installed it and immediately it insisted I create an account. Sorry, but we have a misunderstanding clearly, and that's not what I want. I'm doing confidential work not public work I have zero interest in any on-line accounts, just want to make a quick video. So I quit and uninstall it. Alas it would not uninstall. For love or money I could not uninstall it. So I called helpdesk over. They spent a half hour inoculating my system of this insidious app. It was all over my registry and they gave up. In the end, we reinstalled it cleanly, then uninstalled it and it worked and then had to uninstall some filters it installed and finally we hope we are free of this insidious app. It reviews well elsewhere. So I imagine if a) you want to store or share videos on-line and b) have no desire to uninstall it, it might suit your needs. But me, I'm done with it and MangoApps. As they say, the first experience is telling and sets the tone of a relationship. And mine's been bad.
