Back in 1984, Mike Ashpaugh and wife Joy, set out to be something different. Mike saved up enough money to buy his first truck, which he owned and operated.

We started out as a small flatbed trucking company called E. K. Motor Service, operating in Joliet, Illinois. In 1972, Tom B. Kretsinger, Sr. purchased the company and changed our name to American Central Transport, or ACT. By 1994 we converted our operation to 100% dry van truckload service.

R&B Trucking is a WBE & DBE Trucking Company based in Kansas City, MO. We are equipped to handle a variety of trucking projects including the hauling of dirt, aggregate, asphalt, concrete, and demo/tear out.
