Solid mobile app development, very technical team

Overall experience was good, though some communication was tricky at first. The project scope, for a comprehensive cross-platform mobile app, was complex, but 8Seneca handled the technical requirement very good. We appreciate their attention to security and the focus on a fast, reliable checkout process for the new app.

Describe your project in brief

We hired them to develop a comprehensive cross-platform mobile application for our existing e-commerce business. The goal was to increase mobile conversion rates and improve user retention. The scope included front end and back end development, integration with our existing inventory management system (IMS), and payment gateway setup. They successfully delivered an intuitive app with features like personalized recommendations, secure checkout, and real-time inventory updates. The project was completed on schedule within 6 months.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Technical capability Their developers are very, very smart and deliver code that is clean and maintainable. They also was excellent at integrating the new mobile platform with our legacy IMS system, which was a huge challenge for us.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

Sometimes the time zone difference made it hard to quickly resolve small issues in real-time
