Acumenis is an Australian-based cybersecurity and privacy consultancy helping organisations strengthen security, achieve compliance, and build trust with customers, regulators, and partners. We are ISO/IEC 27001 certified as an organisation and CREST accredited for penetration testing, giving clients assurance that our own practices meet the same standards we help them achieve.

Our services span four core areas:

• Penetration testing and offensive security. We deliver CREST-accredited penetration testing across web applications, APIs, mobile applications, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), internal and external networks, and wireless infrastructure. Our methodology aligns with OWASP, PTES, and NIST guidance, and every engagement is led by experienced testers who provide clear, prioritised, business-contextualised findings rather than raw tool output.
• Governance, risk, and compliance. We provide end-to-end support for ISO/IEC 27001 (information security), ISO/IEC 27701 (privacy information management), and ISO/IEC 42001 (AI management systems), covering gap assessments, implementation, internal audit, and certification readiness. We also help clients adopt and mature against the Australian Cyber Security Centre's Essential Eight, mapping current posture to target maturity levels and producing pragmatic remediation roadmaps.
• Incident response preparedness. We design and facilitate tabletop exercises tailored to each client's threat landscape, technology stack, and regulatory obligations. Scenarios range from ransomware and supply-chain compromise to data breach notification under the Australian Privacy Act and the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, helping executive teams and technical responders rehearse decisions before they matter.
• Privacy and AI assurance. Beyond ISO 27701 and 42001, we advise on Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) compliance, privacy impact assessments, and responsible AI governance — an increasingly critical area as organisations adopt generative AI and machine learning at scale.
