They always found a way to solve the issues we faced

Adamo Digital had worked on a similar technology solution for a local company. I looked at the end product, which had the quality I wanted. I was confident that they’d be able to build the right technology. Having worked for companies in an IT capacity myself, I looked at their skill level and maturity. I had been burned by vendors with immature processes in the past, so I researched the quality of Adamo’s people. They were attracting talented employees from multiple universities and had well-established processes.

The cost of developing in Singapore would have been 4 times higher. As an offshore company, Adamo seemed a lot more affordable. Overall, I looked at 5–6 offshore and local companies. I did consider the security of working offshore, but the price was a big differentiator.

The project was delivered within the initial budget and project timelines. We have since added functionality, but that is normal with ongoing development work. The solution was a real technical challenge, but Adamo always found a way to solve the issues we faced. That sets them apart from most providers.

I'm Michael, CEO of auExplorer Australia.
My business was looking for partners for a new tour operation web and app. We did cost research on IT companies based in Asia. Finally chose Adamo for our project. I appreciated the sales representative of Adamo, Mr. Kevin, for his support. He agreed to send us a draft UI design even when we haven't signed any agreement. That design fitted our expectations then the contract was signed after a week.
We decided to start with an app for sharing travel stores, integrated with travel accommodation booking. The project is still running currently, but I'm impressed with the high productivities and results from the Adamo team. Well done.

Their team-based services surprise me!

I firstly contact Adamo Digital for my small website improvement project. I’m running a real estate business based in America with the initial version made by me. It was outdated then I needed a more modern and well-functioned website. After a conversation with Henry and Kevin, I decided to add more feature set into my original. It was a fresh idea, so I needed time to fully developed. Finally, I hired a dedicated team from Adamo to help me with those. I appreciate 2 Node.JS developers for good works. I got daily reports and scheduled weekly conversations to keep track of the team. I was impressed with the way the Adamo team performing the task, very transparent and professional. My project has done currently and I am planning another phase in the upcoming months.

Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Adamo Software tackles the title of leading software development. Based in Vietnam - one of the most growing offshore development centers on Earth, we offer software solution services to clients. Most of our clients come from Western countries. Roundly 50% of our revenue came from Australia, and 30% from the USA. Currently, Our core services focus on three categories, including scalable dedicated development team, mobile app, and website software development.

In fact, we are a pretty young company founded in 2018. Fortunately, with only 4 years of installments, Adamo currently is a house of 100 full-time IT professionals. They are playing a significant role as development impetus and our spirit. We understand the wave of technology changing hourly. Accordingly, our team desire to improve and grow continually to adapt to market demand. Own innovative mind, our effort paid off by trust and credibility from clients.

As the capacity of English communication, we intend to expand our services to Europe and another part of Asia. Running Adamo as CEO and Cofounder, I nurture our company with passion and extreme competence, powered by cutting-edge technologies.
What is the story behind starting this company?
Honestly,  Adamo Software began with only two members, another Co-founders and me. At that time, I was in charge of business development, and Mr. Henry, CTO, who control the technical side. At that time, I own experience working inside a software outsourcing company, and my partner was a senior IT expert in another IT company serving Japanese clients. We all recognize the demand and potential of the IT sector in Vietnam constantly lifting up. My country has the opportunity to become the outsourcing hub of the world due to abundant talents and government support.

We started with two developers having artist souls. Then we decided to call our brainchild is Adamo, which means “Fall in Love” in the Latin language. We want to express our devotion to the IT industry and our clients by choosing this name. Launching a startup has been my dream since I was a university student, nurturing an intense passion for IT and business operation. It was never easy to launch a company at the beginning time. We also suffered challenges and failure before turning to the Growing stage today.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We are running with 100% in-house developers, which means we can control the quality and progress of all projects to deliver the best experience to clients. Our developers have gone through a comprehensive recruitment process, where we examine the background and skills of candidates.

We understand that software outsourcing projects do not require skilled developers solely. It is a story of team collaboration and innovative development processes. That’s why we featured team working skills and client communication as an assessment requirement of vacancies shortlist.

How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
Despite being a young company, we owned comprehensive experience in some selected industries. Adamo Software started with only two Founders having 10 years of doing business in the travel and F&B sectors. Accordingly, we also orient this new business, focusing on developing software solutions for such industries.

At present, we have successfully delivered several projects related to travel portal software, travel Agent solution, tour operator system, food delivery platform, food ordering system, POS, and CRM system. For years, we have tried to extend our services to some backbone expertise, including education, healthcare, and social networking. Digital learning and school management systems developed by us got popular and delivered success to clients. Some of those have passed fun raising rounds and gained revenue recently.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We do not follow diversity strategies. In-depth focusing on some selected industries makes us successful as our competitive advantage. In 2021, 60% of our revenue came from projects related to travel and hospitality; 20% from Food & Beverage solutions. We have to build a concrete relationship with professionals in those industries for a win-win standard. Evidently, around 60% of clients decided to go further with us by signing the following phases of software development or switching to team-based contracts.

For 2022, we plan to concentrate on five industries: Travel/Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Education, Healthcare, and Social Networking solutions. We have emphatic faith in the extreme revive of the travel industry in 2022. Despite the destruction from the global pandemic, we also gain impressive results and get no doubt about the future of these sectors. Moreover, we saw the potential of rising demand for emerging technology to promote travel from this year and beyond.

Likewise, technology in Food & Beverage and Education showing its dramatic demand these days would become our core expertise. Accordingly, Adamo reported the rising number of projects related to those sectors in 2021.

Additionally, we are closing some deals promising a shift in our customer structure in favor of education and Food experts.

As reports, we saw roundly 80% of clients returns to sign long-term contracts, and almost projects delivered on time. That’s why I am confident that our customer satisfaction rate reaches over 9/10. That numbers match with our review at GoodFirms and some other platforms.

We execute full customer support accelerating the collaboration within our company and clients. Our BA team would gather initial requirements from customers and break them down into the specific feature set. We deliver support to them regarding IT consulting and services quotation if available after considering technical requirements and clients’ needs.

We guarantee support services during and after project execution carried out by our experts. PM would directly contact and update project progress to clients as negotiation. Besides, we execute regular meetings between development teams and clients following Agile/Scrum methodology. Adamo only closes the contract when clients get satisfied with the final products.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
Commonly, we offer support by direct communication (video call, instant messaging, email, and more) to gather clients’ issues on time. To secure the project secret, we developed an internal collaboration system for teams to manage their progress. Besides, we respect the client’s choice, we will follow the contact method required by them.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
For project or one-off contract-based work, we apply fixed cost contracts, commonly divided into three invoices charging in three different periods: before starting projects, before final testing, and closing time.

For the dedicated development team, Adamo sends invoices monthly depending on the actual working hours counted on the whole team.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
At present, we expect to grow our business to new markets. Adamo is willing to work with the first projects starting from 10K USD. From further contracts, we will sign for work from 20K USD.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2021?
It depends on what type of project. Contract-based projects value ranged from 20K USA to 70K USD. Dedicated development team models charged between 50K to 100K per year.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
As Adamo is a young business, we plan to scale our business to over 1000+ after 10 years of installment. Then, not limited to a software outsourcing company, we would build a corporation running both sides: product and outsourcing.

My dream refers to building effective software solutions, contributing to IT innovation in my country and the world. Adamo Software desires to construct a high-end featured tour operator software, emerging latest technology AR, VR, and big data.
