addanode is a South African Industrial IoT (IIoT) company based in Johannesburg. We build both our hardware and our software in-house, so our addaNet platform reads the sensors, instruments and PLCs a site already owns (500+ protocols) instead of forcing a rip-and-replace. Our core focus is industrial IoT, water and mining, with further solutions across manufacturing, agriculture, municipalities and fleet. Every deployment is engineered for South African conditions: load shedding (edge buffering plus solar/battery backup), remote and off-grid sites, patchy connectivity (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, 4G, Sigfox), and local compliance regimes such as DWS water-use licences, SANS 241, municipal trade-effluent bylaws, MHSA mine safety and GISTM tailings.
