Barroco Consulting is a remote software quality consultancy based in Brazil, with professionals available in Brazil and Portugal and working-hour overlap with both US and European teams. We place senior QA engineers and SDETs into our clients' squads, and every one of them works AI-multiplied: backed by QI, our in-house agentic QA engine built with Claude Code and the Model Context Protocol on top of Playwright, each engineer plans, generates, runs and reports tests at the pace of a whole QA team.

Our team has built complete test automation frameworks for several companies, with and without AI. After implementing a test framework integrated with CI/CD, clients have seen more than 80% fewer bugs reaching the following releases, and AI-assisted testing has cut QA cost by at least 40%. We use AI tools such as Claude, Codex and Grok to speed up test design, generation and maintenance, while keeping experienced engineers accountable for quality.

We cover web and native mobile (iOS and Android), REST and GraphQL APIs, contract testing, event-driven flows (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ), performance testing and QA audits for accessibility (WCAG), responsiveness and visual regression. Our stack includes Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO, Appium, Robot Framework, k6 and JMeter, wired into GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

We have five years of hands-on experience in payments and fintech, including instant payments (PIX), access control and user-profile/permission testing, and have delivered quality in e-commerce, insurance, telecom, hospitality, digital agencies and public-sector systems.
