Basework Studio

Basework Studio (legal name: Base Tasarım Teknoloji Hizmetleri Limited Şirketi) is an Istanbul-based software studio founded in 2019 by Baran Somaklı. We are a team of about six people working remotely, and we have delivered 150+ projects for clients in 8+ countries.

What we build:

- Corporate and marketing websites, e-commerce (WooCommerce, Shopify, custom) and multilingual sites, mostly on custom WordPress with ACF Pro instead of ready-made themes.

- Custom software: admin panels, customer and dealer portals, membership and loyalty systems, ERP/CRM and API integrations.

- iOS and Android apps with React Native, connected to existing back-ends.

- AI and automation: smart search, document classification, summarization and support assistants, with human review where risk is higher.

- Maintenance and digital visibility: updates, security and backup checks, performance, technical SEO and GEO for the products we build.

Selected work: corporate site for SANKO Holding; the new nurus.com after several micro-sites for Nurus; a React/Strapi headless site with CRM integration for Eşarj (2,500+ charging points); the Insider One homepage during its rebrand; the Greenwich Coffee website and its iOS/Android app with QR payment and loyalty points; multi-venue sites for Arkas Sanat and Beykoz Kundura; a four-language site for Kıbrıs Developments; and a product catalog for Swiss HPC company DALCO.

How we work: discovery and technical planning, design, development, cross-device testing, launch and long-term support. We work directly with in-house teams at mid-to-large companies and as the development partner of design studios such as Fol and Monroe. We prefer long-term partnerships: after launch we stay on as the technical partner for maintenance, security and new features.
