As the CEO of BetterWay Devs, I am responsible for leading the company and driving our strategic direction. BetterWay Devs is an innovative IT staffing and talent acquisition firm that specializes in connecting tech-savvy companies with the right tech talent in South America. Our mission is to help businesses unlock access to the vast talent pool in South America and create long-lasting employment relationships. What is the story behind starting this company?
BetterWay Devs is a spin-off of Atlanticsoft, a company with a strong track record of helping US and international businesses with their software development needs since 2007. Recognizing the increased demand for remote work and the growing interest in hiring developers in South America, we launched our Staff Augmentation service under the name AtlanticNearshore in 2021, which was later rebranded as BetterWay Devs in 2022.

We observed that traditional nearshore companies faced challenges in establishing long-term relationships and experienced high employee turnover. These issues were often caused by a lack of transparency, excessive fees, numerous intermediaries, and lower salaries. To address these concerns, we developed a unique model where we act as a light intermediary, eliminating additional intermediaries and minimizing fees. This allows us to maximize salaries and provide transparent and negotiable salary information directly to the hiring companies. Moreover, we offer local benefits to developers, ensuring stability, and commitment, and fostering long-lasting relationships.
