Overview

A wholesale wine distributor had an outdated order and load tracking software and an incomplete app that did not meet their business needs. Our client’s old system was out of date and going to be deprecated soon, so they were on a hard deadline.

Goals

After discovery, the client decided they wanted to build new software, rather than update the old software, to create a more modern, user-friendly software.

Results

The client has greatly improved business efficiency, communication, and productivity with a modern system that tracks orders and loads and provides a streamlined customer-facing product ordering application. Key features include: 

   ●   Internal order status processing, scheduling, and tracking

   ●   Customer portal for product ordering, tracking, and review 

   ●   Load scheduling and tracking through multiple carriers 

   ●   Route and carrier scheduling and management 

   ●   Streamlined product and order tracking

   ●   Developed scanning/printing app for use with tablets in warehouse adn provided on-site support

We developed a complex web portal for BrainScope, a medical neuro-technology company. Because BrainScope is bound to FDA and HIPAA regulations, security and privacy are of utmost importance. The original project included a web application and a tablet Android application distributed to health care providers (including Emergency Rooms, Urgent Care, and Medical Doctor Offices) to collect information relevant to a specific medical diagnostic technology.

The application delivered robust form functionality that guides providers through a process of assessment with the patient. Data collected through the dynamic forms included basic patient information, context-specific Q&A related to their visit, diagnostic results, and follow-up details.

Throughout the year, we have deployed several additions to this software, including a user portal, customer portal, UX/UI design, new server infrastructure, a tablet application, manufacturing invoices and orders, CRM, company share point, and a marketing resource library.

We created the MVP for an app called Tangeloo. Tangeloo is a produce bartering app for home gardeners to trade their produce with their community. In addition to the mobile app, we created a web app that manages all categories, accounts, and their listings.

This project is both an internal portal and customer-facing provider portal for an international laboratory testing company. As this company was experiencing exponential growth, it had outgrown its legacy software. Buildable first integrated with the legacy system, then rebuilt the customer-facing provider portal, and continues to build out the custom platform for all aspects of the enterprise management.
