Datraction recovers data from failed hard drives, SSDs, external drives, laptops, Macs and phones at our London laboratory.

We are a recovery lab, not a computer shop. Mechanical hard-drive work is done in a dedicated cleanroom. Where the media allows, we image the device first and work on copies, rather than repeatedly powering a drive that is already failing.

Standard diagnosis is free. You get a written price or an agreed range before recovery starts. If useful data cannot be recovered, there is no recovery fee. If the device has already been opened elsewhere, we tell you any extra assessment cost before that work begins.

Drop off, or send it by tracked courier from anywhere in the UK. Standard turnaround is typically 5–10 working days from arrival; express and 24-hour options are available for suitable cases.

If the device is clicking, wet or unstable, stop using it. Tell us what failed and which files matter most if a full recovery is not possible.
