Describe your project in brief
Disrupt Ventures was brought in to revive a legacy retail brand that had lost relevance in a fast-moving, digitally-native market. The brand was experiencing declining foot traffic, inconsistent messaging, and a dated identity that no longer resonated with its target audience. Disrupt began with a deep discovery process—conducting stakeholder interviews, analyzing competitors, and evaluating how the brand was perceived across digital and physical touchpoints. They identified a key insight: while the brand had strong roots and nostalgic value, it lacked modern relevance. From there, they shaped a strategy to reintroduce the brand not as something new, but as something timeless—refreshed for today. The first step was a complete visual overhaul. Disrupt Ventures created a dynamic, versatile logo system, modernized the color palette, and introduced typography and iconography that felt both bold and premium.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
What I liked the most about Disrupt Ventures.Agency was how deeply they understood branding as more than just design. They weren’t just focused on making things look good—they were obsessed with making things work. From the very first strategy session, it was clear they cared about how the brand would live in the real world: how people would perceive it, interact with it, and remember it. Every decision, from the messaging framework to the DOOH placements, was intentional.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
Disrupt Ventures is incredibly thorough in their research and creative process—which is a huge strength—but it did mean some early-stage deliverables took a bit longer than expected. That said, the wait was absolutely worth it. Once the brand foundation was set, everything else moved with precision.
