EmergentTree Marketing

EmergentTree Marketing is a local SEO and AI search agency in Portland, Maine. We're built for small businesses that depend on nearby customers finding them: home service companies, law firms, dental practices and other local service providers across Maine.

More people now ask ChatGPT or Google's AI Overviews for a recommendation before they ever scroll a list of links. If your business isn't in the sources those tools pull from, it doesn't get mentioned. We do the traditional local SEO work and the newer work of getting your business cited in AI answers.

What we do:
Website Presence Audit: a free, prioritized review of your site, Google Business Profile, citations and AI visibility, walked through on a 30-minute call
Local SEO: technical fixes, on-page optimization, Google Business Profile management and citation building
AI search visibility: tracking how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode describe your business, then building the content and citations that get you recommended
PPC: Google Ads campaigns aimed at local searches, with spend and results reported monthly
WordPress web design: fast, mobile-ready sites, with most standard builds launching within 7 business days of an approved site plan
Social media: designing and publishing posts for Facebook, Instagram and Google Business Profile, tied to your blog and local SEO work
Monthly reporting in plain English: what we changed and what it did

How we work:
Audit first. We don't recommend anything until we've looked.
You deal directly with the owner, not a rotating account manager.
3-month minimum, then month to month. No annual contracts.
