Foundlab is a Sydney-based findability studio that helps Australian businesses get found where customers actually search: Google, Google Maps and AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.

Every engagement starts from evidence. We map demand in your category using five-year Google Trends data, crawl your site for technical and on-page issues (metadata, structured data, images, speed), check your Google Business Profile and Maps ranking, and test whether AI assistants name your business when customers ask buying questions. Then we fix what is broken and keep managing it.

Services include the Findability Audit (demand map, technical check, AI answer coverage, prioritised action list, five ready-to-publish articles and a walkthrough call), managed Local plans covering Google Business Profile, Maps and organic search, missed-call and phone enquiry fixes, and website builds.

Foundlab is run by founder Dan d'Auvergne, a website and software builder, backed by a custom research pipeline. You deal directly with the person doing the work, not an account manager. Prices are published upfront: Local plans from $299 a month and audits from $1,500 including GST. We work in person in Sydney and remotely across Australia, with deep experience in allied health, clinics, local services and D2C brands.
