Grey Space Computing

The addition of the experts of Grey Space Computing to our team really helped us think outside the box and center our product around the user experience. The final mock-ups show excellent quality and consistency throughout, but they are not the "finished article" because we have continued to refine the team's work (and the fact that it was so simple to do so is a good testament to their ability to integrate seamlessly in a new team).

Grey Space Computing assisted us in rethinking the design and development of our website. They investigated the activities of our rivals in the industry and performed a technical and SEO study of the website. We gained a great deal of understanding of our advantages and disadvantages in relation to other businesses of a similar kind. Following our identification of those elements, their team collaborated closely with our internal designer to develop a visual identity that complemented our revised positioning. This required reconstructing the wireframes, redesigning the architecture of our website, and ultimately developing every backend technological component. They suggested that we utilize WordPress, which was a good idea because our website was already created with it and we were somewhat tech savvy.

Grey Space Computing performed an excellent job creating the bespoke user interface, even though it had to be built mostly from scratch. Overall, our users' feedback has been positive. I don't think the team is to blame for anything that has gone wrong; these are just the typical lessons you acquire during a launch. There is a peculiar glitch, but it occurs. Ninety percent of issues are found and resolved before they are released into production at Grey Space Computing, in contrast to the previous agency we worked with, which had almost no QA procedure. The ones that aren't picked up right away are taken care of as soon as possible. Although there is definitely room for improvement, my experience hasn't been any better elsewhere.

All communication was made with a dedicated Slack channel with a weekly zoom call to discuss progress face to face. Response to messages and questions in Slack was almost instant

One of my friends referred me to Grey Space Computing. We had a few initial calls where they gave us a proposal. The price was low enough for us at our development stage, and was balanced in terms of quality and price. They beat out some of the others who were local to this area. Price was a huge consideration, but also ability to deliver and the quality of their work. The current UI we have is just a new iteration of what we built with them. It hasn't needed a full overhaul because we built it with great longevity.

I've worn several hats in my over six years as a designer, so when it comes to a website's appearance and usability, I'm picky. The way the website appears and works in comparison to how I built it and indicated the functionality need is how I gauge Grey Space Computing's success. Both the functionality and visual comps from the originals are consistent with their development build. Other factors that catch my attention are how quickly the pages load, how stable the website is, and the times the team thoughtfully changed functionality without my guidance. They provided excellent dev solutions that I had not even considered, and they were not even included in my comps.
