Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
GrowMy.Tech is a fractional CMO service firm and digital marketing agency dedicated to small IT and software companies that deliver services for their clients in the B2B market. We also serve them in a consulting model, which shows that we adjust to our clients' needs. I am first in line to cooperate with our clients. Today, most of the fractional CMO jobs we deliver are handled personally by myself.
When it comes to digital marketing services, I support the GrowMy.Tech team in translating our clients' strategies into effective tactics and operations.
What is the story behind starting this company?
Well, this story differentiates GrowMy.Tech from most marketing companies. We understand our niche 200% like no one else. We focus on small IT service firms and do not concern ourselves with industries we are not experts in. My background is in B2B, from both clients' and vendors' perspectives, from IT itself, and finally from business ownership. I worked in the corporate supply chain, which led me to establish two tech startups delivering solutions to the B2B logistics market. At that time, my focus was on marketing and sales. I experienced all that marketing has to offer on my own projects, investing my own funds, which, as in any startup, were limited. At the same time, I built my internal development team and worked with external vendors as well. All these experiences give me the credentials to work with our clients and provide a unique perspective on their business needs.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
Our model at GrowMy.Tech is hybrid. We develop some skills internally but outsource others to our close network and partners. This approach allows us to offer the best, unbiased solutions for our
clients. Additionally, our work is closely connected with consulting. We structure our offers for clients only after thoroughly learning about their business, and customizing our proposals each time. This approach presents scalability challenges for us but guarantees that we recommend what is most effective for our clients, rather than what we need to sell in volumes.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
The biggest differentiator is our 100% focus on the target market. We understand our clients like no one else, inside and out. We live and breathe the IT services industry. Another key differentiator is our flexibility in cooperation models and the broad scope of services we deliver to our clients.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
All our clients are from the IT sector. Most of them deliver IT services, while some build SaaS solutions. All of our clients are small companies. We have a high client retention rate, with a significant portion of our clients being repetitive. We worked once with a corporate software development company but the project we did was an internal startup so work dynamics was almost the same as in small companies.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
We prefer to engage with our clients from the perspective of their business challenges and opportunities they face, such as finding a niche, international expansion, starting their marketing from the ground up, working on customer journeys, or increasing their sales in the early stages of company development. To address these challenges, we primarily employ the following tactics: communication, content marketing, SEO and PPC, online reputation marketing (rate & review), outbound marketing, and establishing a presence on LinkedIn or other relevant social media platforms. Additionally, potential website design and development are incorporated into our strategy. Overall, we offer a comprehensive 360-degree marketing service tailored for software and other IT professional services firms.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
In most cases, we join our clients' teams at a stage when they have a demanding challenge, such as international expansion or starting their marketing and sales from the ground up. These projects
typically last one to two years, during which we conduct analytical and research work, craft strategy, implement it, deliver results, and set foundations for full-time marketing managers. This is when we usually close projects and support our clients with the transition from our fractional CMO service to full-time marketing manager ownership. In the early days of GrowMy.Tech, our service focused solely on Fractional CMO. However, over time, we have developed an in-house team of marketing specialists and built a trusted network of external specialists who act under the GrowMy.Tech brand when our clients need specific marketing services. This way, we make it easier for clients to grow. Additionally, we take full responsibility for what we deliver, allowing us to manage the entire marketing process and ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We maintain regular and frequent contact with our clients. Our approach is to speak, ask, listen, and learn in order to understand their needs fully. This allows us to address their queries and issues effectively and ensure their satisfaction.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We are very agile with this. In most cases, we bill a fixed price on a monthly basis for a particular package or service, but we can apply a time and materials approach in some cases.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
The minimum price for a Fractional CMO is 2000 EUR. We also work in a consulting model, which costs a minimum of 1500 EUR. Digital Marketing Services are estimated on a case-by-case basis, but to give you an idea, running a Google Ads campaign costs 500 EUR at the start. However, a number of times we consulted truly consulted companies without budget for free. We love entrepreneurship and try to help each time. Look at our blog; it's packed with actionable items. You read, learn, and do on your own when you have no money for services like GrowMy.Tech offers.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2022?
As mentioned above, the price varies depending on the service provided.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
Our vision statement is that we are building an organization that enables innovative and promising tech companies to transform from small local ventures into internationally established brands. One of our values is to be a leader through innovation. These two elements provide a firm direction for us to act in a dynamic market. No one knows what the future will bring; with AI, each new day might bring change. Whatever happens in 10 years, we want to have in our portfolio globally recognizable (within their niches) brands whose success is based on our work.
