Introduction

Antech-INC, who design nuclear measurement solutions, has been customers of Hexagon Webworks, the Oxford Web Design company, for more than a decade and this is the second website we designed and built for them.

We were asked to update the user experience as well as improve their SEO and Google ranking in a hope to drive more qualified leads.

The brief

Antech INC wanted to develop a dynamic new website to update their online presence. The project involved a full redesign to update the look and set the foundation for a larger repositioning effort. This initiative is designed to effectively communicate Antech INC’s expertise in providing non-destructive radioactivity measurement products and services to the nuclear industry worldwide

The Solution

We custom designed an inspirational new WordPress website ground up for Antech Inc. We kicked this project off with an in-depth discovery phase followed by bespoke web design, and then tailor-built a brand new WordPress website that not only improved the site speed, SEO, usability and flexibility, but is also much easier to content manage.

Introduction

Oxford Cryosystems came to us, an Oxford Web Design company, after facing challenges with their previous supplier. Their old website was painfully slow, didn’t work on mobile browsers, and failed accessibility tests.

After performing a full site audit, we recommend a custom WordPress website integrated with BIOZ for product citations and publications.

The brief

Our task at Hexagon Webworks was to design and develop a website that not only looks great but also clearly showcase the groundbreaking technology at its best, helping them connect with their audience in a meaningful way. There was also the need for an international, but simple e-commerce website for spare parts.

The Solution

In order to give the client full access to editing all the content, we custom built a WordPress website using Advanced Custom Fields, rather than Gutenberg. Designed and developed with scalability in mind, the Oxford Cryosystems website is ready for the future – offering easy maintenance and updates, and plenty of room to grow.

The products are integrated with BIOZ and allows for OxCryo to associate their individual products with  citations and publications from the scientific community.

The e-commerce website, built on Shopify, ticked all boxes for international sales, and offered the client the fastest route to market with a minimal budget.

The result

As the client said, from a user engagement perspective, mission accomplished!

• Average user engagement went from 38s to 2:16s

• Web traffic climbed from 20k visitors to 75k (+262%)

• Bounce rate dropped from ~50% to ~25%

We keep enhancing sections of the site to further improve user  engagement and other site metrics.
