Project Overview:

Apples is a leading reseller of certified Apple equipment and accessories in Kazakhstan, represented on the market since 2007. In addition to the online store with a huge assortment, Apples offers customers to visit their own service center, where they can “touch” the goods, give the equipment for repair and attend thematic master classes.

Good, but not good enough:

Apples store contacted our agency in September 2023. At the start of cooperation, the online store was visited by 568 people per day (organic traffic from search engines). Pretty good? Yes, but not enough for a large company that positions itself as a market leader in Kazakhstan.Google Analytics data on organic traffic at the start of cooperation with HighwayToTop (September 1, 2023).

Stages of work:

Stage 1 - Collection of information and analysis of the site

First of all, we conducted an audit of the site and discovered several key problems that affect the position of the online store in search engines:

  • Technical errors on the site: many pages did not contain metadata, Title and Description, or they were incorrect.
  • Duplicate H1 headings on many pages.
  • Insufficient link mass.
  • Lack of occurrences of keywords in texts.

Then we collected all the data on the online store’s positions and traffic, and also analyzed competitors’ websites.

Stage 2 - Troubleshooting

  • We have fixed all technical errors found on the site.
  • Removed duplicates (repetitions) of metadata.
  • We have entered correct metadata on all pages.

Stage 3 - Improving content

  • We created a technical specification for new SEO-optimized texts for an online store blog.
  • We have compiled recommendations for improving product cards so that they are better perceived by search engines.

Stage 4 - Working with semantics

  • We formed the semantic core of the site: a list of words, phrases and phrases that reflect the company's activities and by which its products/services can be searched for).
  • We supplemented the existing texts on the site with the necessary keywords.

Stage 5 - Link building

  • We purchased thematic backlinks - links to the Apples.kz website, placed on verified sources. The more such sources refer to you, the greater the authority of the site in the eyes of search engines.
