Data Recovery Excellence

Hosco Data Recovery is a data recovery company based in São Paulo, Brazil. It has a technical team with over 20 years of consolidated experience in reversing data loss incidents. It operates in the segment of enterprise storage systems (NAS, SAN, DAS), large-scale server environments, and devices with complex physical or logical damage.

Its main differentiator is a proprietary suite of specialized recovery software, developed in-house to handle advanced scenarios, including:

■ RAID (DDF Disk Group, MD, etc.) and RAID-Z Arrays
■ Logical Volumes (LVM for Linux, AIX, and HP-UX)
■ File Systems ZFS, JFS, Btrfs, and others
■ Hypervisors VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, and Xen

These tools, combined with a controlled laboratory for physical repairs (HDD, SSD) and a secure data center, enable superior success rates in critical projects. All recovery processes are coordinated directly by the company's CTO, ensuring specialized oversight of complex enterprise architectures from vendors such as Dell, HPE, IBM, Oracle, QNAP, and Synology.

The company is committed to delivering technically advanced data recovery services, grounded in professional ethics, operational transparency, and absolute confidentiality of its clients' information.

What Users Like The Most

  • Without a doubt, it's due to their professionalism.
  • Transparency throughout the process, with high-level professional staff.
  • Their most impressive strength is their advanced technical proficiency in enterprise-level storage systems, specifically RAID and virtualized environments like VMware. Unlike other services that might only recover simple files, their ability to reconstruct a corrupted datastore and deliver bootable VMs is a unique and invaluable skill. Additionally, their communication via consistent progress reports is excellent, providing peace of mind during a critical data loss incident.

What Users Like The Least

  • I have nothing on record that would discredit them.
  • Perhaps an automatic recovery status?
  • The only minor area for improvement would be the implementation of a real-time online tracking portal for project status. While the manual reports they provided were excellent and frequent, having a dedicated dashboard to check the current stage of the recovery at any moment would be a great addition for high-anxiety enterprise cases.

My data are back. That´s everything I want.

My NAS crashed for no apparent reason. Unfortunately, my latest files were not backed up when it crashed.
I searched the web for some reliable companies with the necessary background to recover my environment without losing my trousers in the process.
The CEO himself talked to me, which was rare and outstanding because I had no idea whether or not my data could be retrieved.
After about a week, an email containing a summary of all the recovered datasets was sent.
What about the costs? A little higher than expected, but far less than doing it all over again.

Complete certainty that everything would work out.

We had a problem with our Dell EMC NX3240 equipment, which consisted of two virtual disks (VDs) — one with 3 SAS HDDs and the other with 10 SAS HDDs. Hosco was recommended to us in a technical forum with expert participation, which already demonstrated the company's credibility.

From the first contact, the service was extremely professional, agile, and always very clear. All stages were explained in detail, from the initial analysis to the final recovery process. The team demonstrated total attention to the case, maintaining constant and secure communication.

The result exceeded our expectations: in addition to successfully recovering the data, the entire process was quick and precise. We recommend Hosco with complete confidence for the excellent service provided.

Hosco recovered all available Proxmox VMs from an unavailable Dell PowerVault datastore.

We needed to recover some virtual machines running on a LUN from a Dell PowerVault, which was a storage from a Proxmox host. The datastore becames unavailable because of unkwon reasons and, to our surprise, the only available backup was not working. Hosco managed to assess the situation doing physical and logical diagnostics, and reconstructing the whole data structure from lower to upper-level, using their proprietary tools. They effectively mapped the available data and recovered all the available parts. The deliverables were the restored Proxmox storage (which is equivalent to VMware datastore) and its virtual machines even before the estimated deadline.
