The UI team did an awesome job of understanding the functionality of our old site and the requirements we had for the new site. They were extremely knowledgeable about the options available in terms of technology, and made recommendations specific to our needs. We especially wanted the transition to cause as little disruption to existing customers as possible, and UI worked hard to achieve that. They came up with a new architecture for the site, did the bulk of the work of documenting all the functionality (epic mapping), and made a variety of substantive suggestions for how to improve our customer and admin experience right off the bat. We didn't always choose to go with their suggestions, but the discussion always led us to a solution better than we would have come up with alone! After the primary project, we signed a retainer for maintenance, and also did several additional large projects to add significant new features.
