I have more than ten years of experience in the software engineering field, I have worked with various and many kinds of teams. The LightIT team is highly skilled in engineering and project management, I would rank them pretty highly. What I enjoyed the most while working with LightIT is that they genuinely care about the outcome and the business goals of the project. They are always open to communication. Describe your project in brief

The project is to develop a Habit tracking/ Journaling app. It includes the mobile app and backend service. The scope is to develop the product end to end. The product includes iOS and Android apps for the frontend, backend API where all the logic and information lives, AWS DevOps work to run the backend and scale quickly, and a web-based admin panel. I provided specifications in the form of designs and general requirements; they did all the planning, architecture planning, more detailed requirement gathering, and scoping.

Great flexible team that help us build and maintain a world-class web app

Existing Cyber Security Client of Light-IT - CEO, Founder

It's not often things get right the first time. Especially when deciding on a software development partner and the pains of being burned in the past. I had some important advice from a VC to explore companies in Ukraine for software development without any leads. I researched on who the top companies were in Ukraine building software with a background in Python, React and Machine-learning as this was vital for us to find the perfect partner who's leadership can speak to our requirements and can manage technical talent who have the skillsets we needed. Many of the top Ukraine companies are solid, had 70% - 80% of the background/price we were looking for, but something really stood out about Light-IT. Their digital footprint all checked out. I liked the feel of the website (easy first red flag if it had sucked). Their knowledge base aligned perfectly with our technology roadmap and their Director of BD Dennis Kovalenko really stood out as being authentic and someone we could trust as an off-shore partner. Now, of course, BD is only one function of a much larger organization and you still never know, but we took on the risk and moved forward with Light-IT. Now having worked together for over 7 months, I’m writing this review because we genuinely value their attentiveness to detail, dedication and professional etiquette that's truly made a significant impact on our ability to develop our software promise to our customers.

Top notch crew - 3 project and counting

Light IT is a top notch group. Professional, reliable and capable. They have completed three build project for us include a three month front-end build, a ML project, and brochure website. Each was completed timely and all communications were as would be expected. For one project we needed a daily stand-up to keep up with fluid requirements and the PM was more than capable of keeping the front and back end dev's aligned. All work has been very good. They advised on architecture and security. They try do do a good job - which is important for a partner.

Light IT helped us to automate routine processes and saved us tons of money

We requested several companies to help us build a huge system consisting of 3 web and 2 mobile apps for collaborating with our partners. Amazing Frontend & Backend Development for US Tech-Fashion Aggregator Startup

BACKGROUND
- I’m the founder and CEO of Portefini, a US tech-fashion aggregator.

CHALLENGE
- We hired LightIT to take over the broken backend development code on my site and rebuild it using Django and Python.
- We wanted to have a fully functioning backend code linked to my frontend code so that we could launch the website.

SOLUTION
- I did a very thorough analysis of several vendors, and Light IT won on many factors. Denis (Business Development Manager at the time) was my sales point of contact. He was very cooperative and honest, which set the whole partnership on a good foundation.
- Denis helped find a good backend developer for my project. The developer knows Python and Django very well. He was able to take a broken code (code that another developer had left), understand it, refactor it, and put it in great shape.
- There was one backend developer. Over time, the developer took on all of my web development needs, including frontend development.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK
- This project has allowed me to launch an amazing website. I’ve been able to continue raising money and grow my business. Now, the backend code is very advanced, clean, and scalable. I didn't believe that they would be able to clean up the mess I had when I first approached them, but they did so very successfully.
- Their workflow was very smooth. We used Trello, Slack, and Bitbucket
