This is when we started our journey. We took advantage of the fast growth in the IT-enabled services industry in India and established BRP Technologies, a partnership firm, in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad. Our primary area of work was medical transcription for the American healthcare industry. We were also into medical transcription training and trained hundreds of students and prospective employees. We began with a team strength of less than a dozen people, grew to over a 100 in 5 years. We were one of the very few companies in Hyderabad offering medical transcription services to US hospitals and physicians directly. We also collaborated with two American transcription companies and provided them with our medical transcription services on a contractual basis
