Education

Challenge

ASEE needed a professional, cost-effective training resource to help engineering educators understand and apply the Standards of Learning (SOL). The brief: translate complex pedagogy into practical guidance, support national distribution, and avoid travel-heavy shoots while still featuring diverse expert voices.

Solution

Mediac Productions led strategy, production, and post-production for a five-part educational video series. In pre-production we collaborated with ASEE subject-matter experts to define learning objectives and outline each module for clarity and pacing. We designed a cohesive graphics system, animated titles, motion graphics, and branded lower thirds to reinforce concepts and keep visuals consistent. We cast and directed professional voice-over talent and conducted remote interviews with educators in multiple regions to broaden perspective without the costs of nationwide filming.

In post-production we handled editing, sound design, color correction, and the integration of narration, interviews, and graphics. We delivered platform-ready masters with captions and transcripts to support accessibility and learning management system (LMS) distribution. The process is efficient and repeatable, suited to organizations producing ongoing training on tight timelines.

Results

The series gives ASEE a scalable, reusable training asset that makes SOL concepts easier to teach and adopt. Educators now have a reference they can incorporate into courses, webinars, and professional development. For ASEE, the approach delivered national reach on a lean production model.

This project highlights Mediac’s expertise in educational video production, nonprofit video production, remote interview direction, voice-over management, and full post-production services. By combining instructional planning, cohesive visuals, and efficient production, we turned complex standards into engaging, accessible training content for educators nationwide.

Healthcare & Medical

Mediac Productions has produced multiple radio spots for the CDC promoting childhood vaccinations. For the “Let’s Play Catch-Up on Routine Vaccines” campaign, our team cast and directed voice-over talent, incorporated custom sound design, and produced a national radio ad that engaged audiences and encouraged awareness. We later adapted this work into a cinemagraph, creating a complementary visual asset that extended the campaign’s reach and supported public health messaging.
