Top notch Quality Assurance engineering team delivering tangible value at a very reasonable cost

I was looking to augment my existing QA team, but budget concerns were a factor. I had previously had unpleasant experiences going "off-shore", so decided to look a little closer to home. I found Outpost QA and was quickly convinced that they could manage my needs effectively and affordably. Being able to have an open ended contract has been amazing, I now have a team of manual test engineers who are subject matter experts in each one of my companies software and hardware products. They work closely with our in-house engineers, and make sure that bugs are found, reported, fixed, and validated completely before we release any of our mobile apps or device firmware releases. The engineers love working with the QA team because they have a real "can do" attitude no matter what gets thrown their way. Outpost QA is super reasonable about overtime, and working on US hours and holidays, which is enormously helpful. Overall it's been an amazing experience!

Describe your project in brief

The Outpost QA team was brought on to augment the small team of US based testers that I ran, and they now perform the bulk of our manual test executions (around 30,000 tests last year!). We build hardware and software applications for baby health, sleep, and wellness; and the Outpost QA team has been a super reliable partner, helping us achieve milestones on all of our products.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Flexibility: they are willing to tackle any project at any time we need.

Cost: I was able to get 3x the number of testers I could afford in the US.

Attitude: the QA engineers are super easy to work with, and always a pleasure.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

Reporting: this was a little rocky at first, but they were able to improve over time

Services: right now we're only using manual test engineers, but we're starting to expand to automation. I'm hopeful it will be just as smooth!
