Point North Compliance Services is led by a leadership team with more than 50 years of combined experience across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services, and compliance-focused environments. Founder and president Brian Emerson brings a career shaped by the evolution of modern IT, from hands-on network engineering to leading enterprise-grade infrastructure, security operations, and the growth of Point North Networks into a trusted technology partner for organizations ranging from growing businesses to nationally recognized enterprises. That leadership experience directly shapes how we support defense contractors looking for CMMC compliance support: not with generic guidance, but with practical execution grounded in real production environments, sensitive data protection, secure infrastructure, and the operational realities businesses depend on every day.

Since 2005, Point North Networks has delivered IT infrastructure, security, and managed services to organizations that depend on stable, secure systems. Beginning in 2017, Point North Networks began working closely with companies in the Department of Defense supply chain, particularly in manufacturing and engineering. As NIST SP 800-171 requirements became a growing priority, a clear gap emerged: organizations were being asked to meet complex compliance standards, but the guidance available was often too theoretical, difficult to apply, and disconnected from real IT environments.
