Psychoactive Studios

Psychoactive Studios is a global digital design and development agency based in Wellington, New Zealand, working with ambitious brands worldwide. Founded in 2018, we design and build high-performance, immersive, animated websites and web experiences for organisations that want to push the boundaries of the web.

We work end-to-end: brand strategy and content, UX and UI design, interaction and motion design, and full-stack development. We're an AI-era studio, craft-led and premium, now shifting our default delivery into AI-first custom builds while remaining New Zealand's first Premium Webflow Enterprise Partner. We build with React, Vue, WebGL/Three.js, GSAP, Rive and Lottie.

Our work has earned 50+ international awards and recognitions, including multiple Awwwards Site of the Day honours and an Awwwards Agency of the Year nomination.
