Quilven

Quilven is a managed revenue cycle management company for independent, physician-owned specialty practices in the United States. We run a practice's billing department end to end: medical billing, certified medical coding, denial management, accounts receivable recovery, prior authorization and provider credentialing. We work with practices of 3 to 25+ providers, and solo practices are welcome.

Each practice gets a team rather than a single biller: a dedicated account manager, AAPC-certified coders (CPC, COC), credentialing specialists, and AR and denial analysts. We work inside the EHR you already use, including athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Epic, Tebra (Kareo), AdvancedMD and NextGen, so there is no data migration. Denials are worked by CARC and RARC code and appealed, and root causes are fixed so the same denial does not come back.

Every client gets Apex, our live reporting dashboard for collections, days in AR, denial rate and claim status. We are paid 3 to 5 percent of what we collect, with a $500 monthly minimum, month to month with no setup fee. Practices can start with a free 48-hour AR audit: a written report on where revenue is leaking, what we would recover and what the work would cost. We are a remote team and work with practices across the US.
