Freelance iOS developer working in Swift and Objective-C. 6 years experience building for iOS. 3 years experience building and updating Android applications in Java. My emphasis is on developing data-driven applications for small businesses largely or internal use, however I have also developed and published a number of different types of apps. I have worked both developing projects from scratch as well as taking over existing codebases in order to add features and/or ui modifications. Frameworks I am accustomed to working with include UIKit, CoreData, CoreBluetooth, CoreMotion, CoreLocation, AutoLayout, SpriteKit, as well as RESTful apis (reading, parsing, displaying and posting), Notifications, Firebase, Git, Jira, Trello, Zeplin, and Marvel. As a business owner, I am familiar with working on deadline, and I bring professionalism, communication, punctuality, and great attention to detail to your projects. I believe in collaborative, test-driven development, and my preference is to get a prototype in your hands as quickly as possible so that we are continually ensuring that the app being built is the app you intend. Prior to becoming a full-time developer I accumulated 9 years experience as a productive small business owner, including designing, developing, maintaining and marketing an ecommerce website. As such I have a practical understanding of needs from the client side, which I believe enhances my ability to be an asset and contributor to your project.
