SoftInventors was founded by Kazem Naderi, a former CRA SR&ED Research and Technology Advisor with over 28 years of software industry experience, and he continues to lead the firm. Because the work has been seen from the review side, we know how claims are evaluated, what tends to trigger a review, and what it takes to build a defensible submission.

That review-side insight is applied to every claim we prepare. Around it, we assemble the people a particular file needs: domain experts in software, engineering, life sciences or manufacturing, and specialist CPAs for the financial side. They are brought in for the engagement rather than carried on staff, which keeps the expertise specific to your work — and every file is reviewed personally by the founder.

We work exclusively with Canadian businesses — from startups to established enterprises — and treat every claim with the same rigour we'd apply to our own.
