Sthenos Technologies builds custom software, AI and cloud systems for US federal, state and local government agencies and for regulated enterprises in financial services, healthcare, legal and technology. The work covers web and mobile applications, AI and machine learning systems, agentic AI, data platforms and analytics, cloud architecture and migration, legacy modernization, cybersecurity, software testing and DevOps, plus IT staff augmentation.

We build with AI-assisted engineering. Models draft and review code under engineer supervision, which compresses the scaffolding, test-writing and boilerplate phases of the delivery cycle, and a human engineer reviews and owns every line that ships. A senior Sthenos lead owns each engagement, work arrives in two-week sprints, and the repository and cloud accounts are in the client's name from the first commit. Engagements start with a call and a short, bounded discovery, and a costed roadmap comes before any build commitment; where scope is clear we quote a fixed price for a defined outcome.

The business has operated since 2007, under a former name at first; the current entity, Sthenos LLC, was registered in 2021, which is the entity start date SAM.gov shows. Sthenos LLC is SBA-certified as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and an Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), both active from 5 March 2026 to 5 March 2029, and holds Maryland MBE and SBE certificate 26-134 for NAICS 541611 and 541613.
