Role

I was the lead of the Visual part of the project.

Project goal

The client was looking for a talented animator to help him develop the visual concept for an experiment involving digital scenes and responsive biofeedback with visuals and sound.

They attached screenshots of similar projects to show the level of quality he looks for.

The main challenge was to create a visual App that would work on breath algorithms. From our side, we had to create an animation about 6 6-minute lengths of the tree and nature.

The goal of the final project is relaxation and meditation. Breath correction using visual and audio patterns.

Solution

First of all, we decided to move away from abstraction and focus more on natural visual experience. Such as trees, landscapes, rivers, mountains, forests, etc.

The main plot of our idea was a tree that symbolized the person who is using an app.

After we completely finished and approved the visual part we had some challenges with the integration of breath algorithms from Spyros device! But thanks to the guys from Spyros, they were very helpful and collaborative. So we get algorithms and merge them with our internal app.

Project goal

Our client was Mars4, a large NFT and Metaverse creator.

The client asks to make the next scope:

• Mars SuperRare NFT land plot exploration in VR building and 3D models of them. Build in VR Town/Country-related great experiences that can be moved to Mars (Buildings, Music, Art ...). Some games aka Speedslide, Roller Coaster, Skydiving - get some more emotions if it is the first time a user has experience with VR. Each NFT with VR becomes a real State of ART. 
• 15-30min length. Should be related to Dubai and Newton Crator = NEW DUBAI!

Solution

So our main goal was to recreate Dubai on Mars and make an interesting and action VR video. Also important that timings should be close to 15 minutes. For all this, we agreed on a crazy 16-week deadline. 
We made everything from scratch, starting with an idea, concept, and storyboard and finishing by VR 13:15 min. video.

The project was a great challenge for us, we created about 12 levels, with dynamic plots and scenes for just watching and relaxing. For example. the scene with the Mars rover we take the real sound recording from Mars. Flying over Dubai and the Mars scene was a bit challenging as well because tests show that some users were swayed and nauseous from the violent flight. Therefore, we decided to use special handrails on the flight instrument. Thanks to them, the viewer focused his eyes, and motion sickness stopped.

Unfortunately, the deadline was rescheduled for 3 months because of the war invasion in Ukraine. But even with this forsmajeure, we finished the project successfully and now you can enjoy watching it in Oculus Quest 2 or another VR headset :).
