TestMyApps

Since late 2023, new personal Google Play developer accounts can't publish an app until it passes a closed test: at least 12 testers opted in continuously for 14 days. TestMyApps exists for developers who'd rather ship than spend two weeks recruiting and chasing testers.

How it works: you buy a credit and send the closed-testing opt-in link from Play Console. Testers usually join within 6 hours. They opt in through Google Play on their own Android phones, keep the app installed and use it across a 16-day window. We run 14 testers rather than 12 so one dropout doesn't reset your progress, and we keep watching the opted-in count for the whole window. You can follow the run in the client workspace. When the window closes you get a production-access report with participation notes and feedback themes to help answer Google's questions.

Who uses it: indie Android developers, small studios and agencies with personal Play Console accounts.

Pricing: Basic $15 (one app) and Premium $29 (two apps), one-time. 400+ apps tested, with a 99.9% approval rate as our track record. Google decides production access, so we never promise approval. What we do promise is a free retest, and then a full refund if that still isn't approved.
