Their engineering standards matched our internal high-performance benchmarks, resulting in a product that felt like a natural extension of our own technological infrastructure.

What was the project name that you have worked with GenSoft?

Industrial Fleet & Telemetry Management Ecosystem

What service was provided as part of the project?

Testing Services

Describe your project in brief

We developed a robust, industrial-grade mobile ecosystem designed to bridge the gap between high-level telemetry data and field operations for Saudi Aramco. The project focused on synthesizing complex data from a global supply chain into actionable insights for field engineers and logistics coordinators.

Key technical highlights include:

Offline Synchronization Engine: Enabled data logging and safety protocols in remote environments with low connectivity.

Real-Time Telemetry Dashboards: High-fidelity visualization of energy output and chemical distribution.

Geospatial Mapping: Integrated advanced GIS tools to monitor logistics and supply chain flow.

Enterprise Integration: Developed secure APIs to link the mobile interface with legacy ERP systems, ensuring data integrity and cybersecurity compliance.

The result was a significant reduction in maintenance reporting time and a sharper predictive maintenance capability for the workforce.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

The most impressive aspect was their proactive approach to problem-solving; they didn't just execute the technical brief but anticipated potential integration bottlenecks with our legacy ERP systems and built-in redundancies before we even flagged them.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

While their technical execution was flawless, a more gradual deep-dive into the advanced administrative analytics dashboard during the initial handover phase would have helped our non-technical stakeholders gain full mastery of the system even sooner.

Food & Beverages

We helped a food delivery web platform improve release stability, performance readiness, and QA visibility before high-traffic periods such as promotions and holidays.

The client needed to reduce release risks, validate critical ordering flows, and ensure the platform could remain stable during peak load. The main focus was on UI and API automation, performance testing, database checks, and clear go/no-go release criteria.

Our team implemented UI and API automation using Java and REST Assured, added performance testing with JMeter and k6, integrated testing into GitLab CI and Jenkins pipelines, and introduced database-level checks. We also prepared a risk map and release readiness approach to help the team make clearer decisions before deployment.

As a result, QA efficiency increased by approximately 50%, the platform became more stable under peak traffic, and the team reduced the number of release rollbacks.

Technologies used: Java, REST Assured, JMeter, k6, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, PostgreSQL.

E-Commerce Platform

E-Commerce Platform

26 weeks
E-commerce

We supported an Eastern European e-commerce platform with manual QA, API checks, baseline security testing, and release readiness improvements.

The client needed to improve the reliability of core shopping and payment flows without launching a large-scale automation initiative. The main focus was on reducing post-release incidents, improving acceptance criteria, and making critical business flows easier to validate before each release.

Our team reviewed and structured the test documentation, prepared checklists for key flows, and executed manual regression testing for product search, cart, checkout, payments, order confirmation, and related user journeys. We also performed API checks using Postman, ran baseline security checks with OWASP ZAP, and created dedicated payment integration checklists.

As a result, the client received a clearer QA process, more transparent acceptance criteria, fewer issues after releases, and better confidence around checkout and payment stability.

Technologies used: Java, Selenium, Postman, OWASP ZAP, TestNG, JUnit, GitHub Actions.

Gambling, Betting & Gaming Ecosystem

Gambling

We provided QA automation and testing support for a large gambling, betting, and gaming ecosystem covering more than 20 frontend and backend resources.

The client needed to standardize QA across multiple products, including sportsbook, casino, live betting, payment flows, user accounts, promotions, admin tools, and backend services. One of the main challenges was reducing regression time while keeping coverage consistent across a complex and fast-moving ecosystem.

Our team built a Playwright and TypeScript automation framework and covered both UI and API layers. We also supported performance testing with JMeter, integrated automated checks into GitLab CI, configured reporting with Allure, and worked closely with the manual QA team to align automation priorities with real business risks.

As a result, the QA process became more unified and scalable. Regression cycles became shorter, defect detection improved across core user flows, and overall QA productivity increased by approximately 15%.

Technologies used: TypeScript, Playwright, JMeter, GitLab CI, Allure, Docker, PostgreSQL.

Healthcare Web & Mobile Platform

Healthcare Web & Mobile Platform

Healthcare & Medical

We helped a healthcare web and mobile platform establish a structured QA process from scratch. The platform was designed for patients and healthcare providers and included appointment booking, patient records, medical documents, and communication flows.

At the beginning of the engagement, the project needed a clear QA foundation, stable automation practices, and unified testing standards. Our goal was to make releases more predictable and reduce the risk of urgent fixes after deployment.

We designed and implemented an automation framework using Java, Retrofit, Selenide, JUnit, and Allure. We also introduced QA standards, structured test documentation, reporting practices, and CI integration through Jenkins. The team additionally supported knowledge sharing and helped onboard other QA contributors into the new process.

The result was a fast start for automated testing, better visibility into release readiness, more consistent QA execution, and stable product releases without last-minute emergency rework.

Technologies used: Java, Selenide, Retrofit, JUnit, Jenkins, Docker, Allure, PostgreSQL.

Secure Communications & Money Transfers Platform

Telecommunication

We supported an EU/US-based secure communications and money transfer platform with end-to-end QA automation, mobile testing, API validation, database checks, and CI/CD integration.

The client needed to improve product stability, reduce production defects, and increase test coverage across web, mobile, and backend services. Since the platform handled private communications and financial transactions, reliability, security, and consistent release quality were critical.

Our team built the automation process from the ground up. We implemented UI and API automation using Java, Gradle, Playwright, and REST Assured, added mobile automation with Appium and WebdriverIO, and introduced database-level checks for PostgreSQL and MariaDB. We also integrated automated tests into Jenkins pipelines, containerized parts of the testing setup with Docker, and configured reporting through Allure and Testomat.io.

In addition to hands-on testing and automation, we supported the internal QA team through mentoring, test process improvements, and documentation.

As a result, the project achieved around 15% additional mobile test coverage, reduced production defects, improved team efficiency by approximately 40%, and enabled faster, more reliable releases.

Technologies used: Java, TypeScript, Playwright, REST Assured, Appium, WebdriverIO, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Jenkins, Docker, Allure, Testomat.io.
