Excellent in terms of quality

Testvox ran all the possible test cases and found issues in our product. This included serious bug fixes, mild changes and even suggestions in terms of UX/UI. Moreover; they have an excellent customer service and their response times were pretty quick. If your product needs some sort of testing or quality review, these guys are definitely the best.

Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?
Testvox is a software testing company. I am the chief technical officer as well as
business development and management.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
We understood that IT companies today face a lack of technical expertise in the
quality side of their products and struggle without standardized testing. Thus we
decided to contribute our knowledge through this company.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We have qualified QA test engineers in-house who are up to date with the latest
technology and trends.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Our clients can outsource their testing needs to us and we let our team members to be hired by them for 1 month. The payment is only based on this.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We provide testing services for software as well as mobile applications from different areas like fintech, analytics, ecommerce apps, travel, etc. We do get clients with testing requirements of the same domain.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of testing an application & website.
Time parameters usually depend on domain knowledge. Since we have pre-built test case on almost all domains, we usually can complete the work in a short span of time.
How much effort in terms of time goes into testing the front end and back end of an application & website?
We were able to meet the client requirement in terms of timeframe almost always. In case we predict a delay in the delivery, we add resources to meet the deadline. I may not be able to correctly specify the time needed. It depends on what type of errors occur and who deals with it - calculations/algorithms/logic or UI/design and front end.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right model for testing?
We check if the client’s project has the scale-up required, its business model, potential customers and how painful a problem is being solved by them. We mostly do manual testing but also strongly recommend performance testing on the APIs.
Agile Testing or Waterfall Testing. Which testing model do you prefer?
We usually prefer Agile testing along with Scrum management tool.
Please list some factors which are important while testing a product or service.
A detailed test plan, the maximum number of test cases, execution of all features of the bug management tool, daily test report, performance testing, automation when necessary and getting the QA certificate are important factors.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of testing a product or service?
This depends on the domain. Also we see if automation is being implemented,
performance testing is being done and whether testing is done on multiple devices. All these are key factors.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We have 2 payment models:
  1. Monthly fixed amount for a resource and fixed amount w.r.t. domain. If the domain is of a medium level (i.e. if we have already worked on it before) then we fix the rate accordingly.
  2. QA on demand. Testing is done only on the requested task and payment is on an
  3. hourly basis.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
We give our clients suggestions on the optimum plan that they can choose based on their budget. Our services do come with minimum budget plans.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
We have worked for pricing ranging from $490 to $1395after conversion.
