The Auctus Group

The Auctus Group runs the revenue cycle for plastic surgery, dermatology and otolaryngology practices across the United States: coding, claims, denials, patient collections, and out-of-network billing through No Surprises Act arbitration. We work inside the practice's existing EHR and practice management system, so the practice keeps its data and its software. Coding runs on ProCode AI, whose accuracy on operative reports was published in a peer-reviewed study in PRS Global Open (86.7% CPT accuracy versus 42.5% for human auditors on 120 operative reports). Founded in Chicago in 2012, with offices in Los Angeles and Miami, we serve 350+ billable entities and hold 87.5% client retention on month-to-month contracts.

Who we are for: independent and group practices in plastic surgery, dermatology and ENT that want a billing partner who knows their procedure mix, not a generalist with forty service lines.

What we do: charge capture and coding review from the operative report, claim submission and scrubbing, denial management and appeals, payer follow-up, patient statements and collections, credentialing, and a dedicated out-of-network team that tracks underpayments and files federal IDR disputes in-house.

How we report: days in AR, clean-claim rate, denial rate by payer and collections per claim, monthly, in writing.
