In 1997, I opened up The Virtual Secretary providing virtual administrative assistant services. When I started my business, working virtually was unheard of. Now, it's commonplace to contract out positions and work remotely. I honestly feel that virtual assistants paved the path to understanding how much businesses can save by utilizing remote workers and hiring virtual assistants. After a few years working as a VA, I found my passion in online marketing which led me to open a new business offering web site and graphic design, SEO consulting and other internet marketing services.
