Tucanoo modernises the business-critical software companies depend on, and builds new applications, then stays to maintain them. We are a small UK consultancy working in Java, Spring Boot, Grails and Groovy, React, PostgreSQL, MySQL and AWS.

Most of our work starts with software nobody wants to touch: a Grails or Java application stuck on an unsupported version, or a desktop system the whole company runs on. We upgrade or replace it without losing data or the workflows staff rely on.

Expertise in so many areas - Mobile App development to Browser Apps - Knowledge of so many technologies they are indeed, a one-stop shop with AWS and Microsoft certification. For me they have produced cutting edge browser apps including PDF redaction, OCR, Dictation, Global Document search, Document Management, Office integration, Email and SMS integration, with modern user interfaces and an eye for smooth workflow. Dave Brown , the founder of Tucanoo Solutions Ltd, is a pleasure to work with and is very collaborative bringing new ideas and unexpected functionality into the apps. Only 3 categories are allowed to be specified however I would've been tempted to select many more.

Before the inception of Tucanoo Solutions Ltd, my professional journey took me through a myriad of roles. From being a multi-faceted developer in smaller firms to holding consulting positions in Fortune 500 companies based in London, I was privileged to gain a breadth of experience. These roles allowed me to understand the nuances of software delivery across different scales and magnitudes. As I honed my skills and developed a specialized interest in web-based software delivery, a vision started taking shape. It was this passion, combined with the cumulative insights from my diverse experiences, that fueled the idea of Tucanoo Solutions. I realized it was time to leverage my expertise, step into the entrepreneurial realm, and create a company that could fill the gaps I had observed in the industry. Thus, Tucanoo Solutions was born, aiming to provide quality, tailored web software solutions that cater to unique business needs.
