The Challenges

Our main goal was to establish a strong digital presence for the company in the Australian market and tackle the challenges faced by the client, including:

Our Solution 

The initial step we took was to provide a comprehensive analysis, We analyzed the current competition and suggested Google search ads as the main channel for lead generation. The initial approach was to create a simple conversion-optimized website and engage Google search ads and social media ads to identify the best CPA strategy. 

The initial launch showed that we needed to focus more on building out the whole funnel and further optimization of the campaigns. Within the first 2 months, the cost per lead leveled at $220 but gave us a lot of data and understanding of user experience. 

After a few months of optimization, Google ads proved to be the most effective channel, and all marketing efforts were focused on it. We reached 100 leads per month with a CPA under $50. 

With the optimized structure, well-written ad copies, and correct marketing attribution in place, the client decided to invest further in Google ads, with the current budgets reaching almost $20,000 per month. 

With the increase of the budget and a more complex campaign structure, we implemented more sophisticated reporting and data analysis to improve not only the lead generation but also the quality of leads (which came under increased cost per lead).

Currently, the company does $200,000+ in revenue per month through the digital channels, and with a 10+ to 1 return on ad spend, plans to continue growing the digital channels.

The Challenges

Before partnering with VW, the client didn’t use SEO as a part of his digital marketing strategy. All of his website’s traffic was generated through the PPC channel. 

However, the client understood that SEO could be a much more effective channel and could bring long-term benefits to him. That’s why he decided to give us a try and assign us a task to develop and implement an effective SEO strategy that could boost the website’s organic traffic. 

Our Solution 

Since there were no statistics about SEO, we started our work with the niche analysis. To better understand such a complicated niche, we did comprehensive keyword research and analyzed the competitors. 

Based on the findings, we identified high-potential keywords that we believed could achieve top positions on Google. And after discussing and agreeing on the keywords with the client, we started to develop an SEO strategy. 

Our SEO strategy included the following steps:

- On-site optimization: we optimized title tags, meta descriptions and headings;

- Technical SEO: we performed some technical SEO work like speed optimization to optimize the website for search engines;

- Link building: we built high-quality backlinks to improve the website’s authority and rankings in search results;

- Work with keywords: we tried to optimize the content on the service pages with selected keywords. However, it didn’t work because most of the keywords had info intent. After that, we decided to create info pages and such a decision led us to success;

- Work with featured snippets: we tried to get FS for info pages and got succeeded in it. We got up to 10 featured snippets which helped the website gain more organic traffic.

By implementing the above steps, we were able to increase organic traffic and take the website’s visibility to the next level. 

The Results

As the niche was very competitive, it took some time to see results. However, we can say with confidence that our SEO strategy was successful and helped the client achieve his goals. 

At the beginning of the project, there was no organic traffic. However, now everything has changed. According to Ahrefs statistics, from the period from April 2020 to April 2023, organic traffic has increased from 0 to 771 users. 

Moreover, search visibility has increased significantly. According to SE Ranking statistics, search visibility has increased from 0 to 3.2.

The Challenges

- lack of proper optimization of website pages for relevant keywords related to the project;

- presence of numerous autogenerated pages on the website, which posed a great risk for the site to fall under the Google Panda penalty.

Our Solution 

First of all, we did comprehensive keyword research and grouped the keywords into relevant categories. After discussing the keywords with the client, we identified which ones were a priority and where we should focus our efforts first. 

Once the keyword groups were identified, we began with the initial technical on-site works. We have completed work according to our checklist, analyzed the website structure and optimized existing pages for their respective keyword groups. 

Simultaneously, we did some work on autogenerated pages to reduce the risk of being penalized by Google. We carefully evaluated each page and identified those that brought the most traffic to the website and optimized them. Other pages that could harm the website's overall search engine visibility and potentially be penalized, we closed for indexing. 

And last but not least, we focused on building a strong backlink profile. Every month, we built high-quality backlinks and kept an eye on the website's backlink profile.

The Challenges

The main goal was to increase organic traffic to get more leads. 

To achieve this goal, we had to overcome several challenges:

- Develop an SEO strategy tailored to the client's needs;

The client provides private investigator services across Australia. That's why we were tasked with developing an SEO strategy that would increase organic traffic for each of Australia's states. 

- Focus on the keywords related to Sydney.

The client asked us to pay additional attention to the keywords related to Sydney, as he wanted to get as many leads from there as possible. 

Our Solution 

Based on these challenges, we started to develop an SEO strategy. To overcome the first challenge, we decided to create several landing pages targeting state-specific keywords. 

After that, we started an optimization process with an additional focus on keywords related to Sydney. 

The optimization process included the following: 

- On-site optimization: we optimized pages for state-specific keywords, optimized title tags, meta descriptions and headings;

- Technical SEO optimization: we optimized site speed and performed some other technical tasks to ensure that the website was crawlable and had no technical issues;

- Off-site optimization: we created a linkbuilding strategy that allowed us to build a robust backlink profile and improved the website's rankings.

Before enrolling with VW for an ongoing SEO campaign, the majority of sales on the website were generated through branded traffic. However, the client realized the necessity of implementing an SEO strategy that could increase non-branded traffic, and, consequently, lead to more sales. That is why he decided to give us a try. 

Furthermore, the client had many categories of supplements on the website. However, he didn't want to promote all of them. He wanted to focus on one specific type. 

Thus, we were assigned the task to increase non-branded traffic while focusing on the selected product type. 

Our Solution

Our strategy included the following: 

- On-site optimization: we optimized title tags, meta descriptions, headings and subheadings, wrote keyword-reached content for collection pages and did everything we could to increase the website's visibility;

- Blog posts: we created a strategy on how to attract/increase info traffic to the website by writing blog posts;

- Silo structure: we improved the silo structure;

- Linkbuilding: we developed a linkbuilding strategy to acquire high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites. This helped to increase the website's domain authority and improve its rankings;

- Technical SEO: we conducted some technical SEO works and increased Ahrefs health score.

The Results

Launching an SEO campaign at the beginning of October 2022, we saw an increase in organic traffic over the next six months. 

According to GA, organic traffic has increased by 110% from 3965 to 8355 users.

Our Solution

As the client had previously run Bing Ads campaigns, we started with an audit. By auditing the account, we identified what was and wasn't working, and finally, we found out that the main reason for failure was poorly structured search campaigns. Based on the insights we got, we have developed a new strategy. 

To bring success to Bing advertising, we have developed a new account structure and launched the following campaigns:

- search campaign with brand keywords;

- search campaigns with keywords related to client's services;

- cross-brand campaign. 

After launching campaigns, we kept an eye on them and optimized them to maximize their effectiveness. By testing new keywords, adjusting audience, demographic, location, and other types of targeting, improving ad copies, and testing different extensions, we got amazing results. 

The Results

Just a month after we restructured and relaunched the campaigns, we saw the effectiveness of the new strategy. The numbers we got speak for themselves. ROAS increased by 89% while CPA decreased by 10% within the same ad budget. 

Within seven months of the relaunch, we achieved results that fully satisfied all client's requests. ROAS increased from 159.81% to 435.3%, and revenue increased from $4K to $9K, while ad spend decreased by almost 30%. We also managed to significantly reduce CPA from $22.29 to $10.68 and increase the number of conversions from 134 to 200.

First, we did comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis. After that, we built the strategy that would be the most suitable for the project. Here is a quick overview of it:

- to increase the number of leads, we launched several search campaigns with keywords related to client's services and started working with customer retention via launching display remarketing campaigns;

- to increase brand awareness, we launched a search campaign with brand keywords and additionally launched a smart display campaign.

After launching campaigns, we closely monitored and optimized them to get better results. By testing automated bidding strategies, improving keyword targeting, adjusting location, demographic, device and other types of targeting, improving ad copies and testing different banners, we got results that have even exceeded the client's expectations. 

The Results

With a comprehensive approach, the results were not long in coming. Within the initial launch of the Google Ads campaigns, we got 14 leads for $122/lead. Our Solution 

As the client had previously run Google Ads campaigns, we started with an audit. By auditing the account, we identified what was and wasn't working. Based on the insights we got, we have developed a new strategy for Google Ads. 

By auditing Google Ads campaigns, we figured out that campaigns were bringing quite good results. However, some issues negatively affected the advertising performance. 

The first issue was poorly structured search campaigns. Due to keyword dumping, search campaigns weren't working at full capacity. The second issue was that there were no remarketing campaigns. It means that the client didn't work with customer retention and missed one of the crucial steps in the marketing funnel. 

Considering the issues, we have developed a new strategy and taken the following steps: 

- restructured search campaigns;

- launched display remarketing campaign;

- launched a video remarketing campaign.

After restructuring/launching new campaigns, we monitored and optimized them to maximize their effectiveness. We tested new keywords, ad copies, extensions, banners, videos, adjusted audience, demographic, location and other types of targeting. And taking this set of actions enabled us to see results in no time. 

The Results

Just 3 months after the search campaigns restructuring and new remarketing campaigns launch, we got results that satisfied the client. ROAS increased from 451% to 538% and revenue doubled from $7.4K to $16.9K. By increasing the advertising budget we scaled the campaigns and increased the number of conversions from 224 to 465.

The Challenges

The main task that was assigned to us was to increase organic traffic on the landing page. Additionally, the client had one more query. In the new SEO strategy, he wanted to test some commercial keywords that had shown quite good results in PPC. 

Our Solution

Our first strategy was as follows: 

- work with on-page SEO: creating SEO-optimized blog posts, creating internal links from the blog posts, optimizing content on the landing page;

- work with technical SEO;

- work with off-page SEO. 

This strategy has shown quite good results. But over time we noticed that the growth of the project had stopped. And to get the project back on the growth track, we decided to make some changes to the strategy and focus more on linkbuilding. 

We started to build more links and focus on building much more expensive links rather than we have built previously. 

We also occasionally did keyword research. During one of the keyword research, we found new relevant keywords for the project and decided to try them. 

We created additional landing pages and optimized them with new keywords. This step allowed us to gain a significant increase in organic traffic. 

After that, we decided to update the strategy, and now it looks this way:

- Creation of blog posts with internal links;

- Building links to the main landing page and duplicate pages;

- Researching for new relevant keyword groups for which we can create new landing pages. 

The Results

Starting an SEO campaign in 2019, the project has had ups and downs. However, we can say with confidence that our efforts have yielded results.

According to Ahrefs statistics, from the period from May 2020 to October 2022, organic traffic has increased from 3189 to 51720 users. Moreover, we achieved TOP positions on Google during the same period:
