Rapido is India’s first and fastest-growing Bike taxi app, with a whopping 25 Million+ app downloads. They run operations in more than 100 cities in India and are growing at a staggering rate monthly.

Wednesday, worked with Rapido to help re-write their Android customer-facing application. The need for the rewrite arose because of the rapid growth in customer adoption. Rapido had a huge product backlog, long release cycles, and a product that did not allow marketing and product functions to experiment. 

Kalshi is the first federally regulated way to trade on the outcome of events. Investors can make trades on their opinions about a specific yes-or-no question. This new asset class is called an event contract.

Investing in a Kalshi market means investing in your own opinion about a particular topic, global event, or trend. Each market has two sides, Yes and No, which cover each possible answer to the question. As an investor, you buy contracts based on whether you believe the answer to the market question will be Yes or No. After the market closes, your contract side settles to $1 if your answer is right and $0 otherwise. The contract price fluctuates and reflects the difference in demand for Yes or No.

ZALORA is the leading name in online fashion shopping, carrying an ever-expanding line-up of local and international brands tailored for Southeast Asian consumers. Their selection of over 50,000 products covers every aspect of fashion, from skirts to dresses, sneakers to slip-ons, sportswear to watches, and much more.

A team of senior Android & iOS engineers worked with different pods at Zalora to help increase velocity and build product features their customers wanted. Our teams used the best in class practices and built features using the latest engineering principles. Feature flags, release engineering, AB testing, and data collection were implemented across all features to help product managers understand what works. We also helped with endeavors to help reduce technical debt and migrate Java to Kotlin and ObjC to Swift.

Docon is India's largest platform for Healthcare providers. Individual practitioners use their platform to provide better patient care. The platform includes modules for patient management, Electronic medical records, Tele-appointments, Reports & analytics, and more.

Wednesday, I worked with Docon on a design and development endeavor. Our design team worked with them on assignments ranging from conducting competitor research, creating design systems, to building their website on Webflow.

Buildd is a FinTech API marketplace that provides plug-and-play API bundles. Merchants and FinTechs can choose which bundles they are interested in and release their product offerings without worrying about compliance and regulations.

Wednesday, worked with buildd to define their core API architecture. We worked with their CTO to define a microservices architecture, release pipeline, database setup and helped build their first lending product. We were involved in everything from initial brainstorming, architecture, development, branding, and website.

Spot Writers is a platform that connects aspiring storywriters and production houses. The founders hail from the advertising, events, publishing, and media industry. They knew firsthand how difficult it is for aspiring writers to get their stories heard and how difficult it is for production houses to sift through the hundreds they receive.

Wednesday, worked with spot writers to build their MVP. We allocated a team of developers and a project manager who worked agilely to bring the designs to life.

A responsive website, a react web application, and a REST API were built and delivered.

PharmEasy provides consumers with on-demand, home-delivered access to a wide range of prescriptions, OTC pharmaceuticals, comprehensive diagnostic test services, and teleconsultations. Their super app has 25 million registered users with 2.4 million transacting customers.

API Holdings is the parent company of PharmEasy. Healthcare has many stakeholders - consumers, doctors, laboratories, and hospitals. While PharmEasy is a consumer app, the other companies within their umbrella touch the different stakeholders in healthcare. Together they are the largest digital health platform in India.

Our teams worked with Pharmeasy and their sister companies and helped with software development & design. During this project, our teams identified bottlenecks in workflows, processes, and technical choices. We conducted training sessions on best practices and tools. Our work spanned multiple platforms ranging from the Web to Android.

Juno is a platform for NBFCs and retail investors. It offers retail investors an alternate fixed-income investment product with a higher yield. NBFCs, on the other hand, are provided capital on tap. Through Juno, they can raise capital at a significantly lower cost (2-4%) than banks and institutions. Bypassing the banks and institutions allows both NBFCs and retail investors to enjoy a higher yield.

A large part of the Indian household assets is in some form of fixed income products, an estimated 300 billion USD. On the other hand, there are around 8000 active NBFCs with less than 100 crore book size and about 700 large NBFCs. Juno set out to address this gap. Retail investors have an appetite, but NBFCs with a small book size couldn’t raise the capital they needed quickly to lend.

Wednesday worked with Juno as a product strategy, design, and development partner. We worked with the founders to create a go-to-market plan aligned with the business objectives. We then set up a team of designers and developers who understood the business objectives and designed and built workflows to automate user, admin, and NBFC activities.

Container logistics is a significant source of carbon emissions. Matchlog is on an ambitious mission of de-carbonization, i.e., reducing the carbon emission from container logistics.

A container journey is classified into two parts, i.e., an import cycle and an export cycle. In an import cycle, containers are moved from the port to the importer; in an export cycle, the containers are moved from the exporter to the port. After fulfilling either an import or an export, transporters have an empty trip to fill. Matchlog helps them find a match to fill that empty trip. E.g., an import cycle can be clubbed with an export cycle, so the transporter takes back a full container to the port.

The average annual dry run kilo meters in India is ~5.4 billion. The carbon emission is approximately 2 million tons, i.e., 400 gms per trailer per kilometer.

Matchlog uses several parameters to make a match. Along with this, it collects an enormous volume of data per parameter.

Wednesday set up a team consisting of designers, developers, and a project manager. The team understood Matchlog's business and the different actors in the system and started working on digitizing workflows and building the matching algorithm. The system is architected and designed to collect petabytes of data for different parameters and create matches for containers.
