Zokyo is built by practitioners who have been shaping blockchain security since the earliest days of the industry. In 2016, Hartej Sawhney co-founded Hosho, widely recognized as the world's first blockchain security company. He also introduced HoshoCon, the first conference dedicated to blockchain security - creating a place for researchers, builders, and security engineers to share breakthroughs and raise the bar for the ecosystem.

In 2018, Zokyo emerged with a clear mission: combine deep offensive security experience with protocol-level understanding to help teams ship safely. Today, Zokyo is a global collective of ethical hackers, cryptographers, and research scientists spanning the US, UK, Ukraine, Spain, Romania, India, UAE, Singapore, Philippines, Nigeria, China, Poland, and more.
