Ahrefs

Ahrefs is a go-to tool for all-around services regarding SEO at SocialSEO Inc. My division primary works with 10,000+ URL enterprise clients and Ahrefs does an excellent job of aggregating large data sets around link metrics, rankings, basic technical items, competitive metrics, and keyword tracking.

Biggest pros:

-Pages best by links feature. You're able to at a glance see the most equitable pages, look for anchor text discrepancies, and identify high link value pages that are 404'd or improperly redirected.

-Internal backlinks. Gives an easy to follow visual look at the internal link metrics for any site and allows for easy looking at internal anchor texts.

-Regularly updated keyword tracking

-Content explorer function: The new version of the content explorer tool is an amalgamation of AdWords keyword explorer, Answer the Public, and MOZ's keyword tool.

Ahrefs is a powerful SEO tool that allows you to monitor and grow your search traffic. You can explore keyword research, content, and backlink data as well. Ahrefs is also great for competitor performance analysis.

One thing being an SEO Associate of Fundera I like about Ahrefs is that they have a content explorer which is great for generating new ideas for content creation or outreach campaigns. In addition to comprehensive backlink profiles, they have an intuitive dashboard that can be customized based on what SEO metrics you're looking to track.

Backlinking goes smoothly, as it has incredible web-crawling powers. Also, it does just fine with keyword search, enough for everything we need! The only thing that lowers its score is that we frequently hit the maximum amount of searches, and then have to find ways to bypass it.

Ahrefs has the best and most accurate data on top of all the useful features - we use it primarily for evaluating domains relevancy for partnerships, reverse-engineering what works for competitors including spying on their backlinks, batch analysis of URLs with backlink and traffic data, keyword and backlink tracking. It does most of the features better and with better UX.

As a Head of SEO at YourParkingSpace, my favorite feature of Ahrefs is the Content Gap tool. I can enter two competitors in the tool to see which keywords they rank for, while we don't. It's a great way to know which content is missing on our website, and where we should focus our efforts. Once I've done that, I can enter a topic related to our product in Ahrefs' Content explorer, and write down the most popular topics on the web, or the ones that get shared the most on social media.

Ahrefs' Keywords Explorer is another great tool to find new keywords. You can filter keywords to come up with untapped, long-tail keywords that will give you an edge over your competitors.

One of the SEO tools the team of Zeal Ltd could not live without would be Ahrefs. As an SEO tool, Ahrefs is constantly developing itself and offering further features which can help improve performance. One of our favorite features is the keyword explorer which not only provides suggestions for new keywords but also insights such as search volume for a keyword, competitiveness of the keyword and a breakdown of keyword ideas from recently discovered terms through to question-based terms which can really help when creating content for websites.

Really useful and great tool to have. It is easy to navigate and has loads of useful feature. We, in Engineer Warehouse, use it as our go-to SEO tool. You get what you pay for and in this case, it's worth it.

Pros Our agency, 301 Madison Consulting builds links for clients. We’ve used several different SEO Software options over the last several years. Moz, Seranking, SEM Rush and now Ahrefs. There seemed to be about 15% more link results on Ahrefs vs the competition. Cons I think the price is a bit high compared to some of the other providers.
