I use AHREFS for competitor analysis and keyword research for all of my sites. A very powerful way to do this using AHREFS is to search the URL of your biggest competitors in the AHREFS search bar. From there click "top pages" on the left-hand side. The "top pages" functionality allows you to sort all pages on your competitors' site by total traffic, number of keywords that competitors page ranks for, and the estimated value of that pages' traffic if that traffic was acquired via PPC. The "top pages" view also displays the number of referring domains that a particular page has as well. The "top pages" view of a competitors website is a great way to come up with ideas for pages on your own site that could potentially drive a lot of traffic. I have come up with countless ideas for valuable new pages on my own sites by using the "top pages" view on AHREFS. The key is to look for pages on a competitor's site that drive a lot of traffic, with high value, and a low amount of referring domains.

I've been using different SEO software on a daily basis at my organization - The Kidd Group for my competitor analysis, keyword research, competitor insights, negative backlinks built, etc. I will be sharing the experience of using Ahrefs.

Pros:

- gather all backlinks possible and has lots of features compare to other software

- fresh index backlinks / lost backlinks

- favorite feature: rank #0 / featured snippet

- chain redirects that can be seen only by using this tool

Cons: It cost way too much when compared to other software. Plus only top 20 ranking keywords can be shown on elite subscription($99/month)

If you're running a very high competition business/website that might get hit by negative SEO(bombarded with thousands of links) Ahrefs is your go-to backlink analysis tool.

Pros: Great reach, user-friendly, decent cost

Cons: No so far!

We utilize Ahrefs for a lot of SEO and content strategies at Dragonfly Digital Marketing including competitive link research, keyword research, rank tracking, and to identify content opportunities, I recommend Ahrefs as the best all-around tool, because they specialize in links, and that’s crucial for SEO. It primarily started as a link building tool, and links are incredibly beneficial for SEO, we’ve continued to use the tool as its offerings have increased. Ahrefs does offer cost per click predictions.

It provides Best Data but I find it expensive sometimes.

Pros: Nothing can beat its features

Cons: Little bit expensive

Pros: Great interface, all in all

Cons: backlinks overview only for 2 last month

I have been using Ahrefs for more than 3 years now and the tool has been doing wonders for me and my team! The tool has actually helped me to scale multiple businesses organically! I'd recommend this tool anyday to any business!

Pros: This Very Good for Every SEO Activity

Cons: Sometimes it is not loading perfectly

This is our go-to link analysis software at The Guerrilla. It has always had the largest database to analyze. Lately however I have noticed they are slowing down updates on keywords. SEO requires fresh data and ahrefs seems to be throttling their crawlers/data.
