What Users Like The Most

  • Their report writing is excellent, and they provide several free workshops to assist you. The payroll and human resources software are simple to use and customize.
  • The program is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. The installation staff quickly responded, and the customer service was excellent.

What Users Like The Least

  • It takes months of instruction and practice and making error after mistake to master report writing fundamentals.
  • At our workplace, punches are occasionally not logged on the employee station, resulting in difficulties with hours because they are not recorded.

Top Notch Customer Service

In my experience, no HCM system is perfect. What Ultimate does really well is constantly get better and hire great people who really care and work to solve your problems. The people have made all the difference in my experience with them. I've had other groups pitch me and the people are fine but I just find the level of caring from Ultimate makes the difference.

Great End User Experience

The end user experience is much better than many HRIS products...the help videos are polished and informative. As an end user the system is very intuitive. For a sys admin, it's not quite as clean but Ultimate continues to make improvements and is constantly trying to develop tools to help gain insights. Customer Support is very helpful but they seem to be under staffed. Unless it is a payroll critical issue, it may take some time to get an answer. LOVE the custom reporting tool.

Payroll Made Easy

I first worked on Ultimate Software in 2004. It has grown with the times and continues to take feedback from customers to improve the product. I love the quick tours all thru the software for those things that we don't do all of the time and need a quick refresher.

UltiPro Pros Limiting the need for IT resources post implementation. - Hi level impact for smaller IT footprint. Standardized employee details, history and job data with integration across HCM. Easy user interface on many areas of the system. Quick adoption with end users. One note: Recommendations to others considering the product: Do a thorough requirements analysis and demand proof of capabilities, especially when it comes to module integration between, UTA, Core, and Recruiting.

Very powerful system that can meet your needs

I've been using UltiPro for over a decade and am still impressed by what it can do. It easily becomes your system of record and handles all of your Human Resources transactions, personnel files, benefit enrollment and administration and Payroll. The core system has been enhanced over the years to include more in the way of Talent Management, Employee Communications, Perception and additional modules for Onboarding, Recruitment, Benefits Management (Benefits Prime) and Compensation.
